Dear Sir,

I have been a patient at your hospital since 1997, but have only recently begun Hemodialysis with you.
My 6 visits so far have given me ample opportunity to assess the health care staff within this Unit. In the past as a psychologist I have conducted numerous training courses for all levels of hospital staff. I believe that the staffs in your dialysis department are exceptional! I had several alternatives from which to choose treatment, but I cannot imagine any better attention or care than is given in your hospital.

Even though there is of course an established hierarchy within the unit, each member works as a part of the Team. No task is too menial and each of them works as an efficient member of a well-oiled mechanism. Whatever needs to be done is tackled by any member of the team without thought of status or rank. They have very little rest and could probably do with an additional staff member. Whatever the work load or stress they face, they are cheerful, professional, patient orientated, always ready to answer questions and reduce patient stress. Their explanations and educational comments about diet, health care or procedures make the patient feel like an individual. So many health care staff elsewhere treats the condition or ailment and not the patient. Even though 4 hours 3 times a week is monotonous and boring I feel rather like a VIP when I enter the Unit.

The attention and procedures they pay to the possibility of infection are first class. They engender trust and confidence in patients. We patients who are trying to extend our lives by Kidney dialysis are often depressed or distressed by using a machine that helps us function rather than our own organs, but the staff in your Dialysis Unit brighten our lives, treat us as individuals and their attitude and professional caring deserves recognition. I am very happy to have chosen your hospital for treatment and feel totally secure and confident in the staff of your Dialysis Unit.

Just had to write you all a note to express my thanks and appreciation during my recent appendectomy surgery. From DR. VICE ADMIRAL JESSADA SUWANNASIN, surgical team and all else who was involved in my care. Most importantly, I'd like to name a few nursing staff who showed sincerity toward my well-being and comfort, namely: Khemjira Boonrod, Rung Thiwa, Pattriot Suthatsa Mln, Bewz Kongsombat, Numphueng Mola, Ratchada Thongsook, Thangmo Cha and Love Macias. Thank you so much for your concern, care and attention, the patience and understanding - they were my best medicine! I was so happy being around you all. You are such a remarkable group of individuals! I would definitely love to meet all of you again if and when the time comes that I get to visit Thailand again! You are all amazing! Please continue to show your care and attention to all your patients. It would really brighten their day! I also would like to say a BIG Thank You to Nattakritta Ruangrit of Finance Department for the quick response and kind assistance provided when I requested for my billing report!

I am getting better every day - progressing quickly.
