- Checkup exercise stress test.
- Monitoring a patient’s ECG at rest and by exercise on a tredmill (walking on a moving belt).
- This allows a doctor to evaluate:
- a patient with chest pain or tiredness or a patient who has had a heart infarct.
- The function of the heart valves and muscles.
Who should undergo this test?
- Patient’s suffering from chest pain (angina pectoralis) or from fatigue/tiredness.
- Patients with risk factors of high blood cholesterol, high blood pressure, chest pain, cardiac arrhythmia.
- Patients 40 years old or more, who wish to exercise hard or start a work out.
- Patients wishing to know how good their heart functions.
